Finding Strength in Weary Times

God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
2Samuel 22:33

May be you have been embarrassed, or had failed, or had struggled to let go, wished we done things a little differently, sought for peace in our lives and at other times felt appreciative and thankful.

Our feelings may not be fully expressed in words for that phone call that broke the news no mother wants to hear, the doctors report you will never wish for, the grief you have to bear or that disappointment or crushed expectations.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psalm 23:3

Your strength may fail

Your heart may give in

Your emotions may want to opt-out

But God will release that strength you need

Know this, you are not alone and there is hope for you. Whatever our feelings and surges of emotions when we are weary, we all need Words of encouragement.

If our strength is not enough when adversity comes, all we need do is to wait on Him. At such times, we need to draw strength from our source and strength-giver.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Proverbs 24:10

There is strength for the weak

There is strength for the weary

There is strength for the hopeless

There is strength for those cold days

There is strength for the lonely at heart

Carla wrote me a few of days ago and suggested I sat in my comfy chair and soak up God’s word. That is the Word of Strength I need at this moment.

Have you found your source of restoration?

It is in His Word. WOW!

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

The more of God’s Word we soak in the more strength we draw in.

The more of God’s Word we absorb, the more grace we receive for those weak moments.

The more rooted we are in His Word, the more unshaken we become in the face of
the mundane and tiring tasks.

We need to sip-in more juice of His Grace through His Word.

In weary times, we find solace in His Word and draw all the strength we need from caving into each verse of promise He has given us.

Stephane continued in prayers. We may need others to hold us up in prayers at such times. Please do not hesitate to reach out. We need community, friends and family.

Prayer Prompt
Dear Lord, I surrender to your peace and love. Fill me afresh with your anointing and renew me with your strength.

Be Strengthen In Christ Jesus,
Ifeoma Samuel
