When you feel Unnoticed

We all long to be appreciated and crave for a sense of belonging. Like a little child, we look up for that nod of approval from someone we love. “Oh, am I worth this much?” we are excited to ask ourselves.

Are you working too hard to get noticed?
Do you know God knows your nameGod has your name written on His palm.
You are already noticed and watched over by the Lord. He cares for you beyond your thoughts.

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. Isaiah 49:16

Sometimes our loneliness stems from trying hard to be accepted or to fit in to the “in-group”.

Here is the thing:

Do you need to be accepted by a so-called “in-group”?

Truthfully, you don’t need to belong to that “circle of friends” in order to feel loved or important.

Are you working hard to feel loved?
Good News is.....
“You are already loved with an everlasting love”.

God’s love is larger than life itself.

You will be surprised to see that there are amazing people God has placed in our lives who need our love and attention, who value and appreciate our care.

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.  Jeremiah 31:3

Do you feel forgotten?
God is mindful of you and He will never forget you.

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
Isaiah 49:15

♥ You don’t need to feel judged, inadequate or discontent in your friendships. Our friendships should bring out the best in us.

♥ Our friendships should be free of guilt but full of love and compassion.

There is no need to remain in a relationship where you feel repeatedly hurt. Be brave to address t he uneasiness you feel and pray over it.

Let us look beyond the group we wish we were a part of and begin to look around to impart the lives of those who really need us.

I am glad God places people in our lives that really need our attention, care and love.
May God open our eyes to see people who need our love.

Just as Jesus did, let our friendships have positive impart, be meaningful and above all, let it count for something (1 John 3:16).

Prayer Point
Lord, open my eyes to see people you have placed in my life.
Help me dear Lord, to be a faithful friend to those you have blessed me with.

Please share your thoughts, "Have you ever felt the need to belong to a particular “in-group” to feel accepted or loved?".

Remain Blessed
Ifeoma Samuel
