Our Life Books
Flipping
through the book I held in my hand gently, I thought within me, our lives are
like the pages of this book. Some of us have very glamorous introduction and
others not fancy at all. Our story changes as we get to each chapter which can
be likened to another phase in our lives.
We
can’t tell what roles the characters in the book of lives may play nor can we
say who walks in or stars in the next scene.
We are clueless as to what happens next. Just
as the Psalmist wrote “My times are in thy hand” (Psalm
31:15a).
Sickness,
failures, joyous celebrations, grief, pain, promotions, financial gains,
marriage etc. whatever our life book brings our way, the only thing we are sure about is God’s Plans for our lives will be
fulfilled and all these circumstances notwithstanding.
Every chapter
of our life book carefully pieced together will make for a beautiful life story.
We
trust God to write our pages and make our lives beautiful for His glory, come
what may we will shine forth as bright lights.
We
do not flatter in our faith instead we hope and pray and are constantly assured
he will come through for us.
Let us pray for divine help for families.
# Prayer
Point 1
Lord
we pray for those innocently accused or being setup by the enemy. Let them see
your salvation.
Let
all those wasting in the prison of life be liberated with your mighty hand. Let
hopelessness experienced by the innocently accused be turned to joy of
salvation and promotion.
Which executeth judgment for the oppressed:
which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
Psalm 146:7

Point 2
Lord
we pray for divine help like the widow of Zarapheth, for families struggling
with hardship and poverty.
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the
fruit of their doings.
Isaiah 3:10
Lord,
sustain every needy family who are waiting on you. Let doors of favor be opened
for your children and let there be testimonies in Jesus name. Amen!
