I recently visited the animal’s park
during the holidays. I had an opportunity to observe these animals in the open
wild. It was a long and tiring drive through the park. I took special interest
in the zebra and the giraffe.
As I observed the patterns on the
zebra and compared with the giraffe, I couldn't help but wonder
the majestic wonders of God’s creations. God had made all these animals in
different shapes and sizes.
We approached a friendly Giraffe.
My little girl got excited and did
all she could to feed this Giraffe. She wasn't scared of the animal
not of its size nor its appearance.
The giraffe was quite comfortable
around the number of people who like us swarmed around the animal to get a
closer look. We stood on the raised pedestal and I got a closer glimpse of the
animal.
When we got home I sat back and
pondered how marvellous are the works God had made.
The Zebra wasn’t trying to be
the giraffe neither was the giraffe trying hard to walk like the zebra.
Every animal was comfortable in their uniqueness.
We are all different in our own ways
yet beautifully crafted to fulfill God’s purpose.
Know ye
that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we
are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:3
Quick questions here:
· Why do we often struggle to be who God has made us to be?
· Why do we try to fit ourselves into someone else’s description of who we
should be?
You are the right size and person for your
God-given assignment
No matter what anyone thinks or says about it.
We are delicately woven to show God’s
glory. I can’t glory in another man’s pattern neither can anyone glory in
my own pattern.
God will continually work in our
lives to bring out those beautiful patterns in our lives.
God has made us uniquely to his own
glory alone. Everything we are and who we are as long as we are God’s Children
will continually be for His glory.
I don’t have to work hard at being
someone else;
I only have to work harder at being
the person God expects me to be.
You may feel unqualified,
inexperienced, unprepared or not good enough to step into the path he has
prepared for us. When you feel this way remember, he has equipped us to do his
will.
For we are
his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before
ordained that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
We don’t trust in our selves or in
our abilities. We completely rely on the Master Planner to fulfill his promise
and use us for His own purpose.
