I am glad you still it here. For the next 31 days in December we are discussing these amazing secrets I found out to living happier and more fulfilled. These secrets are also my personal tips tried and trusted. We will take this journey together and with God’s Help see what wonderful gifts await.

The Poison in your Bad Habits

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Before now, I did procrastinate a lot. These delays cost me a lot more than I bargained for. It was a slow and trickery robber of good things. Same goes for every negative habit that stands against God’s plan for your life.

Negative Habits are weights and burdens. There are a lot of harmful addictions in our lives that are contrary to building a fulfilled life. A fulfilled life is one with less regrets of what we ought to have done. If you are not pleased with the way things are going, then it’s high time for a change.

Your Habits Influence Your Personality

Gambling, sex addictions in form of pornography, adultery, fornication etc... Alcoholism, social media and television addictions, may develop a strong hold in your life. Addictions creep in slowly and look harmless.

Negative addictions are poisons that can slowly destroy you or too quickly knock you down.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

2Corinthians 11:3

3 Powerful steps to Break free from Negative Habits

1. Break the hold of the enemy over your life through confession. Confession is an open shame to the works of the enemy. Turn back to God in sincerity. God will grant you the victory you require.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2. Prayers and Fasting The effectual and fervent prayers of the righteous man avail much.

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

3. We overcome by the word of our testimony. Testify what the Lord has done in your life. Testimonies seal our victory over the works of the enemy.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
