Day 13
Overcome
the Fear Factor
For God hath not given us the spirit of
fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Timothy 1:7
Just like everyone else, I have been scared of
many things in life. Many of my fears were not real they didn’t happen.
Fear is like a wall. It gets higher every time we believe
our fear is real. Job feared greatly. His fears became a reality. He was
imprisoned with the wall of fear. It soon consumed him. The enemy saw that
weakness in him. The enemy capitalized on the things he feared most.
Whatever the fear; Fear of failure, disappointment,
of success, fear of life, fear of starting fear of rejection, fear of people etc
it is definitely going to knock your door. Keep it out.
Fear comes to say you can’t make it, don’t concede.
Fear is a prison that keeps its victim locked in.
Fear presents all the things that don’t seem to be
working right now in your life including those from your past. Fear comes from
the enemy. Any thought that exalts itself against the word of God is propagated
by the enemy.
· 4 Profitable Reasons To Fear God
1. His eye will be upon
you.
Behold, the eye of the LORD is
upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
Psalm 33:18
2. His angel
will surround you.
The angel of the LORD encampeth round
about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 34:7
3. His banner will be
over you
Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be
displayed because of the truth. Selah.
Psalm 60:4
4. He fulfils the desires
of your heart.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear
their cry, and will save them.
Psalm 145:19
