One of the
beautiful privileges of being a Christian woman is being able to pray with
people and for people. Prayer moves mountain the bible says pray without
ceasing.
We receive answers when we pray sincerely with all our hearts without
doubt or fear.
The bible says one shall chase a thousand and two, ten thousand
how much more when there are groups of praying women who are consistently
praying for one another.
Joshua 23:10 One man of you shall chase a thousand: for the LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he
hath promised you.
So imagine
the power of praying with a network of women. I enjoy praying it gives me all
the peace I need. There are lot of opportunities you could utilize....your neighbourhood, your friends, coworkers etc
Staying connected
with other Christian women gives an opportunity to share scriptures,
experiences, advice, prayer points, testimonies and so many other beautiful things.
The bible says let the older women teach the younger. Older also means spiritually matured
women which can provide support anf impart gracefully into the lives of the younger women.
Titus 2:3-5 The aged women likewise, that they
be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to
much wine, teachers of good things; That
they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love
their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their
own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
Another reason women ought to pray together, is to stand in
gap for a nation and seek God’s face for a turn around.
Isaiah 32:9-15 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless
daughters; give ear unto my speech. Many days and years shall ye be troubled,
ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come. Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be
troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins. They shall lament for the teats, for the
pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine. Upon the land of my people shall come up
thorns and briers; yea, upon
all the houses of joy in the
joyous city: Because the palaces shall
be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers
shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks; Until
the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful
field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
To pray together
with other women and in the process teach your daughters to pray. Where and how
else can our daughters’ learn to pray and join other sisters?
Recall the women
prayed with the disciples and also received the filling of the HolyGhost.
Act 1:14 These
all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and
Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Women can prayerfully support the ministers of God even in their local assembly.
Philippians 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which
laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
When you don’t pray you become a prey.
2Titus 3:6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive
silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
Okay, so there
