Make Your Thoughts Worthwhile

Philippians 4:8  Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The bible encourages us to channel our thoughts correctly. Your thoughts could as a matter of fact be destroying your life. Have you been around extremely negative people, who believe nothing good can come their way? These thought patterns are subconsciously embedded in the mind of such people.
Negative thoughts can be contagious and positive thoughts likewise.  I try as much as possible to stay with positively minded Christians, who believe they will get through every situation no matter how tough it seems.
The mind is a fertile ground. What you allow seed in your mind grows and becomes fertile. If we are able to filter out or weed out all negative thoughts we become more fulfilled.

Proverbs 4:23  Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

The issues of life consist of everything that makes us exist as living people i.e. health, finance, spirituality, marriage, careers etc. if the devil can manipulate your thoughts, then he has control over you.
There are many ways negative thoughts get into our minds. The social media, television, what you read, what you hear constantly are routes negative thoughts can permeate into the mind. You need to know what access these unholy thoughts get into your system and control it.

You cannot think something else and act another.

Proverbs 23:7  For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Matthew 15:18-19 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Fill your heart with beautiful thoughts, be thankful for each day, and be grateful for what you have and those you have. Just as Jesus said,

Luke 6:45  A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Don’t dwell on your unpaid bills, doctor’s report, sickness and pain, or all the things not working in your life right now. Remember God is able to turn the situation around for good. Meditate on God’s word which is able to give you life.

Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
