Purposeful and Meaningful: Words We Speak

I like strawberries, grapes and bananas they make me happy. Just the same way, I really like my hubby wrapping me around when we sleep. I feel warm and secured and sometimes like to curl myself up closer to him.

We all know how that makes us glad being cuddled up. In the same vein, men also like to feel special and warm in the loving hands of their spouse. I also feel appreciated when he eats his homemade meal coked with love, and give good compliments about it.

We all appreciate loving compliments and constructive criticisms from our beloved husbands. Even if he doesn't do some of those things you can start. When you give love you will get it back. Trust me this works.

“A man that has friends must show himself friendly…” Proverbs 18:24.

To be your husband’s friend, you also must be friendly not a nag or a complaint, or a fault finder. There is always something nice about your spouse. This does not mean we become vain with flattering just to get something out of our spouses, and then it becomes exploitative.

I usually take a second thought when I have to discuss a problem with my spouse. I think of the best way of discussing an issue without hurting him in anyway.

The tone and manner of our approach as a wife matters a lot. That why the bible says with our good conduct we can win over an unbelieving spouse.

Words can either make you or mar you.

The Bible says a soft answer turns away wrath Proverbs 15:1. Knowing what to say, when to say it and how to say it, is wisdom.

Even our kids’ love praises. When done with love and carefully fashioned words, it makes our home peaceful, blissful and fun filled. Speak positively to your life, your spouse, your kids and your home.

A wise woman builds her home not tear it down with her hands Proverbs 14:1. So be wise.
